The E.DIS Netz GmbH has introduced a new, free service platform available to all their customers, designed to enhance user experience through streamlined digital access.

Note: Users of the customer portal can log into the app using the same credentials (email address and password).

If you are not yet registered as a customer, you can still access certain features via a guest login within the app.

The app offers several functionalities and benefits, including:

• Meter reading submission
• View of your recorded meter readings
• Consumption history overview
• My Area (FAQs)
• Messages and notifications (new feature)
• Additional features such as outage reports, house connections, and more

1) Meter Reading Submission
Using the app, users can manually enter their current meter reading or utilize OCR technology for automatic detection.

What is OCR?
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is a technology that allows the app to read numerical meter readings using your smartphone camera. Simply point your camera at the meter; the software will identify the reading within seconds, without the need to take a photograph.

The captured reading can then be submitted directly through the app, which automatically sends you a confirmation email within minutes.

2) My Recorded Readings
Here, users can review all meter readings previously recorded in our billing system.

3) Consumption History
Your consumption data is displayed both graphically and in tabular form, excluding any voluntary interim readings you may have provided.

4) My Area
Access and review your personal data, along with frequently asked questions related to the app.

5) Messages
Opting for online communication allows you to view all correspondence in your inbox. For additional assistance, you can contact support directly from this section.

6) More Features (Outage Reports, House Connections, etc.)
A consolidated overview includes:

• Customer portal access
• Outage reporting
• House connection information
• Invitation to participate as a co-creator of services

Usage Instructions:
Accessing the E.DIS Netz app involves three simple steps:

1. Download the App:
   Download from the Google Play Store here.
2. Create an Account:
   Register under "Register" to create a new customer account usable for both our portal and app. You will need your contract account number and business partner number. Existing portal users can skip directly to step three.
3. Log In:
   Enter your credentials into the app to begin. Customers already registered in our portal can use the same login information here.
